We'll demonstrate how lightning works, discuss considerations for maintaining privacy, sovereignty, and freedom, and provide hands-on demonstrations that everyone can interact with. The school offers plenty of space for breakout group discussions.
757BTC and VB Bitcoin are celebrating their first joint meetup at Pixels Pints and Bytes in Norfolk at 5:30 PM. Both groups have been growing the Bitcoin community in Hampton Roads simultaneously for about a year and are stronger working together. We'll discuss the mission and objectives of each group and ways to grow and educate the local Bitcoin community. The event takes place in the reserved downstairs area with good food, brews, mixed drinks, and retro arcades for the kids.

Many of us like to think that the Bitcoin price is just a way to get the most out of our fiat by taking a little bit of fiat and converting it into Bitcoin where magically it increases it’s buying power of fiat currency. You might not be able to use it to buy things or at least not like you can with US Dollars but at least you kind of get the picture that Bitcoin certainly can buy more dollars year over year than any other asset! The fact is that no one really knows what Bitcoin is because it’s a massive monster of tools, developers, users and meme cowboys.
It was a beautiful evening. Children ran amok the streets with their parents in Olde Towne Portsmouth, Virginia. Apparently there was a Trick or Treat event. We liked orange and that’s for Bitcoin. Sorry children, no candy here.
